The Story
Founded in Arizona by Vivek Shanavas, Stinger was built on a simple idea: creating high-quality streetwear that’s actually ethical.
Tired of clothes that fell apart after three washes and synthetic fabrics that were bad for you and bad for the environment, Vivek was fed up with fast fashion. So, he set out to create pieces that actually lasted— pieces you could hand down for generations. Pieces that are made responsibly and with premium fabrics and luxury-level quality, all while being priced fairly.
By trying to bring quality,aesthetics,sustainability, and affordability together, he realized that balance was key.
And so the motto “find your balance” was born.But it quickly became about more than clothing. It’s a reminder to slow down and stay grounded. To find peace in the chaos. To know when to work hard and when to stop and smell the roses. We believe a balanced life is a fulfilling life, but the thing about balance is that it looks different for everyone. We believe style should never come at the cost of the planet or the people who make our clothes.
Sustainability
Sustainability is at the core of what we do.
100% Organic Cotton: We prioritize organic cotton to reduce the substantial water consumption associated with conventional cotton production.
Low-Impact Dyes: Our OEKO-TEX® certified dyes help reduce the use of harmful substances in our production process, and reduces chemical runoff and water pollution.
Ethical Production: We work with manufacturers that prioritize responsible working conditions, fair treatment, and ethical production standards. (FLA,SMETA, BSCI, WRAP, GOST, and SA8000 standards.)
Small-Batch Production: Each drop is intentionally limited to help prevent overproduction and excess waste…so we never end up in a landfill.
Compostable Packaging: Our shipping materials are designed to break down naturally and minimize unnecessary waste.
A portion of our profits supports Pollinator Partnership, helping protect bees and other pollinators, and the ecosystems they depend on.
